Card counting is a system of predicting the remaining cards in a deck by keeping track of the cards already dealt from the deck. By utilizing blackjack cards counting, you can actually decide when to raise your bet to hit big at a Blackjack table. Card counting is not a piece of cake though; it’s complex. Even the simplest blackjack card counting system may take weeks or sometimes months of practice to predict correct cards in a deck.

Contrary to popular belief, card counters don’t target specific cards; rather, they assign a value to each card dealt and determine if the remaining cards are in their favor or not. Most blackjack-cards-counting experts believe that high running count is beneficial to the player, whereas a low running count is beneficial to the Dealer.Remember this is a small but valuable card counting tips. This is because the player and the Dealer play by different rules.

To determine the running count, you can use the much anticipated Hi/Lo card counting system. In this system, you don’t target and track specific cards. Rather, you assign a value to each card dealt. For example, cards from 2 to 6 are assigned a value of +1, cards from 7 to 9 are assigned a value of 0, and the cards from 10 to Ace are assigned a value of -1. These groups are also called positive cards, neutral cards, and negative cards, respectively.

Begin counting at 0. Add 1 to your count each time a positive card is dealt. Subtract 1 from the count if a negative card is dealt. Stop calculating if a neutral card is dealt. If you end up with a positive count, go ahead and raise your bet. A positive count indicates there are more high cards available in the deck. A negative count, however, signifies more number of low cards in the deck, which eventually is beneficial to the Dealer. Don’t raise your bet in case of a negative count.

You should be careful when counting blackjack cards at casinos. Start counting the cards as they are being laid by the Dealer. Don’t let others know that you are counting cards. Most casinos hate card counters. Casinos can kick you out if you are found counting cards!
